I spent my early career in a dark, smelly warehouse fiddling with small things.

My background as a technician with the Miniatures/VFX unit for Weta & Wingnut Films gave me a excellent grounding in the technical aspects of film-making and a passion for cinematic problem solving. Coming up through the ranks as a music video director and transitioning into TVCs has developed my aptitude for working with people to get great performances and tell stories effectively.

Combining these two disciplines, the technical and the emotional, is what I love about my job.

I naturally lean towards comedy, human warmth and explosions.
